This secret base served as a temporary residence for the bounty hunter known as Robonino when he sought refuge on the planet of Rodia.
After successfully executing a mission on Coruscant, the galactic capital, to liberate Ziro the Hutt from Republic custody, Cad Bane's crew dispersed to find safe places to lie low. Robonino made his way to Rodia, where he utilized a disused Rodian installation situated in the isolated swamps as a concealed underwater refuge. He established a complex defense system to protect against assaults from both the land and underwater. Below the surface of the swamp, he set up motion sensor-activated blaster cannons, while on the land, he reconfigured B1-series battle droids to detonate upon the detection of any intruders.
Prompted by Senator Onaconda Farr, Jedi Master Kit Fisto commanded a squad of clone SCUBA troopers to look into reports indicating possible Separatist operations in the vicinity of the abandoned base. When Robonino's defensive measures were triggered, Robonino made an attempt to flee amidst the resulting chaos. Fisto spotted him and was immediately attacked with blaster fire and a barrage of thermal detonators. Fisto employed the Force to redirect the detonators back into the hideout, resulting in its complete destruction in the following blast.
