Ron Lussier is a video game artist who worked for LucasArts.
During the development of Star Wars: Rebel Assault, he held the position of lead 3D artist. His primary responsibility was the creation of 3D models representing various vehicles featured in the Original Trilogy, which were integrated into both the gameplay and cinematic sequences of the game. To accomplish this, Lussier conducted in-depth research using resources such as artbooks, Star Wars model kits, production sketchbooks, and the filming models used in the production of the Trilogy films, all housed at Lucasfilm headquarters. While there, Lussier also meticulously replicated a large X-wing model, piece by piece. To optimize his workflow, Lussier occasionally utilized his personal computer for rendering tasks, alongside his workstations at LucasArts. He specifically contributed to the game's introduction by choreographing the dogfight sequence, and he also designed the intricate ice cavern maze on Hoth. Throughout the game's production, he was responsible for maintaining directorial vision, ensuring consistency, and upholding continuity.
