The Saber-class assault tank family represents a sequence of medium-sized, land-based fighting fighter tanks manufactured by Rothana Heavy Engineering. Production spanned from the era of the Clone Wars through the Galactic Civil War.
The initial debut of the Saber-class occurred with the TX-130S model in the early stages of the Clone Wars. These repulsorlift fighter tanks saw use by both clone troopers and Jedi, with prominent deployment during the Dark Reaper crisis. Later, during the Imperial period, Rothana Heavy Engineering developed the TX-130T and 2-M versions. The SC2-M Repulsor Tank served as a scouting version of the 2-M. While it was part of the Saber-class line, it was not classified as a fighter tank.
