Sal'kaasa was a minor colony located on Ryloth.
Situated near the border of the Bright Lands, the settlement was quite distant from Ryloth's primary cities, such as Kala'uun. It featured a spaceport and provided lodging for a small group of Rodians.
The mechanic shop owned by Dindoo, along with the company Dindoo Tours, run by Dindoo's descendant Kelko, could be found in Sal'kaasa.
