Sand wine is a variety of wine. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, after a starship touched down on the Mid Rim planet of Manforgon, one of the crew members asserted to Tellix, the local Imperial Customs Officer, that their cargo consisted of sand wine.
The 2000 edition of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game core rulebook, published by Wizards of the Coast, included reference to sand wine.
