Mantellian Savrips, who are an intelligent species originating from Ord Mantell, communicated using Savrip, their native language. This language consisted of a combination of roars, shrieks, and growls.
Due to its complexity, other species found it nearly impossible to understand. Even with advanced translation technology and droids, only basic elements could be understood, and the Force was often the only way for a non-Savrip to fully grasp the nuances of the language.
On the other hand, very few Savrips took the time to learn Basic, and those who did seldom used it.
