Scarlet

The COMPNOR Art Division of the Galactic Empire employed the designation "Scarlet" to categorize artistic creations—including holodramas, musical compositions, and visual arts—that failed to gain the endorsement of Imperial censors. These works were deemed to be without value, objectionable, a threat, or subversive to the Empire.

Consequently, the expression "drawing a scarlet" arose, and any work so labeled often achieved substantial financial success across numerous planets.
