Schardak

Professor Schardak, an archaeologist employed by the Alliance to Restore the Republic, made a significant discovery. While excavating on the planet Tatooine, he unearthed a tumulus estimated to be at least 100 millennia in age. After Rebel operatives learned of this find, they convened with the Professor at a cantina located in Mos Eisley, subsequently opting to accompany him on his ongoing exploration. Inside the tomb, they came across an ancient sarcophagus.

Schardak, aided by his Rebel companions, transported the sarcophagus to Kinzor, his customary base of operations. Employing high-powered lasers from the archaeological museum, he managed to breach the robust metallic container, revealing an age-old mummy within. The following day, the mummy broke free, resulting in a series of fatalities. Schardak was among the deceased, his body then taken over by the mummy to commandeer a starship and journey to the Dagmar system. Upon reaching Dagmar II, Schardak's possessed form eradicated all those in its way, after which the mummy abandoned it. The Rebel operatives who had assisted him earlier, and were now tracking the mummy, eventually located his remains.
