Se'Lenti, which is rendered in Basic as "the Scouring" when translated from its original Gorothite form, was the name given to the obliteration of Goroth Prime. This obliteration was a direct consequence of the battle waged between the Aqualish and the Corellians, who were vying for dominion over the planet's valuable mining assets.
This utter destruction was triggered by intentionally directing asteroids to collide with the planet. This act resulted in the deaths of approximately five billion Gorothites and the release of vaporized hyperbaride into the atmosphere from the planet's crust.
