Second New Plympto resistance

The second resistance on New Plympto involved the Nosaurian people standing up against the Galactic Empire's occupation of their planet, New Plympto, during the Imperial Period. This uprising kicked off in 1 BBY as a response to the Empire's enslavement practices, the destruction of their cities, and the confiscation of resources on their homeworld. Fefar Blackeye, a General, emerged as the central figure, providing both spiritual and military direction to the resistance. His group engaged in a two-year period of hit-and-run attacks against Imperial assets. However, in 1 ABY, Imperial troops cornered Blackeye. They patiently waited, and as the sun set, he succumbed to his species' natural instinct to vocalize loudly at the sunset. This unfortunate serenade revealed his location to the Imperial forces, leading to his capture.

Blackeye was transported to Coruscant and exhibited in a zoo alongside a collection of non-sentient primates. After enduring six months of this treatment, he ended his own life. Without Blackeye's leadership, the resistance on New Plympto disintegrated.
