Security Scout
The Security Scout, utilized by the Rebel Alliance, was a single-occupant vehicle that employed repulsorlift technology for propulsion. An exposed driver piloted it. For defense, it featured a pair of rotating blaster cannons, and its steering relied on a sizable rudder.
During the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Security Scout saw action with Rebel Alliance forces stationed on Endor. Notable individuals such as Princess Leia Organa and Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker were among its users.
Behind the scenes
As part of Kenner's Body-Rigs toy series, the Security Scout vehicle was introduced in 1985. Its packaging differed by region; in Europe, it came in a closed box, whereas in the United States, it was sold on a blister card. Both packaging variations depicted the vehicle in use on Endor.
