Sein jewels were a type of stone that had an internal light source, thanks to the presence of glowing plasma gas inside. Back in 32 BBY, Queen Padmé Amidala's throne room gown was adorned with seven sein jewels around the bottom edge. These jewels had an ovoid shape and emitted a yellow glow from their orange coloration.
