Senate Commercial District
The Commerce Hall, also known as the Senate Commercial District, represented a commercial center constructed below the Senate Plaza on the planet Coruscant.
Layout
This district, reachable via a pair of staircases situated along the avenue that led toward the Senate Building, housed numerous diverse shops and establishments operated by a multitude of different species. It comprised two distinct sections. The western section was situated directly underneath the Garden of Justice, whereas the eastern section resided below the Garden of Equality. These two sections were joined by a corridor that extended around the northern, eastern, and western perimeters of the avenue, featuring several Galactic Trade Network terminals in its northern segment. The district included Mariyk's cantina, alongside a Republic security outpost. Various Jedi Knights and Jedi Consulars also established their headquarters there, capitalizing on the district's prime location and abundant resources to support their missions and the instruction of young Jedi.
