Senate Mining Bureau

The Senate Mining Bureau functioned as an organization for half a millennium prior to the Battle of Yavin.

Whenever agents from the exploratory branch of Outer Rim Oreworks discovered a planet that ORO desired to possess, they were required to file a claim with the Senate Mining Bureau. Hugo Bartyn, being highly skilled, would register claims with the Bureau even before informing ORO.
