Luke Skywalker wearing Serp armor
A distinctive style of armor was unique to the Serp species, natives of the planet called Serphidi. This metal armor consisted of several parts: a helmet for head protection, pauldrons to guard the shoulders, a breastplate to shield the chest, vambraces for forearm defense, gauntlets to protect the hands, cuisses for thigh protection, and greaves to cover the shins. During the Doom-Jousts, Luke Skywalker donned a suit of Serp armor when he confronted the Serp King named S'Shah.
