Seswenna Defense Forces

The Seswenna Defense Forces represented the Planetary Security Force that protected the Seswenna sector as the Galactic Republic neared its end, during its final years. A notable member of the Defense Forces was the Human Ranulph Tarkin; in 66 BBY, he spearheaded a victorious effort against the Delmaasi pirates. Later, in 57 BBY, Tarkin's career advanced as he became the Seswenna sector's Governor-General, thereby gaining control over the Defense Forces. Tarkin then embarked on a mission to enhance the Defense Forces' power, and thanks to his leadership, it ultimately integrated into the broader Republic Outland Regions Security Force.
