ShadoWing-4

The ShadoWing-4 represented a civilian version of a para-wing glider, drawing its design inspiration from Imperial Military glider technology. Its design incorporated wings which granted exceptional maneuverability, and it was equipped with an integrated repulsorlift generator that enabled it to reach a maximum altitude of 5 kilometers. Despite these features, the ShadoWing-4 suffered from a delicate construction, making it unsuitable for operation in inclement weather conditions. To ensure pilot safety, it was outfitted with a sensor beacon, navigation systems, and supplemental emergency thrusters.

Alliance Special Forces frequently adapted the ShadoWing for deployment by Pathfinders and Infiltrators, typically by disabling the beacon to reduce the risk of being discovered.
