Shark Airspeeder
The Shark Airspeeder from Mobquet was developed as a follow-up to the P-34 combat speeder, and like its predecessor, it utilized a double laser cannon turret. The Imperial Army had only just begun using the Shark when the Battle of Yavin occurred.
Characteristics
The Shark, a vehicle not known for its beauty, suffered from the same control issues as the vehicle it replaced. These issues stemmed from the placement of the turret mount, situated behind the crew area. Pilots often quipped that controlling it was like piloting a wounded Bantha. Despite its short range of only 200 meters, the double laser cannon provided the Shark with considerable offensive capabilities.
