Tanderris, Shiko, held the position of vice-president within the Drearian Defense Conglomerate. Following his successful rescue of the DDC president's offspring from the clutches of Thalassian slavers, Corvastan Benelex approached Tanderris with a request: a loan of two million credits, alongside arms concessions, to facilitate the establishment of House Benelex. Tanderris approved the loan due to Benelex's promise that the DDC could provide creative suggestions for the promotion of the guild house.
