Shock controller

A shock controller was a piece of equipment that could trigger a shock collar from a distance. Jabba the Hutt had a shock controller which he used to activate the shock collar that Leia Organa was forced to wear while she was one of his slaves. During the rescue mission to save Han Solo on Tatooine, Organa used her chain to choke Jabba, stopping him from accessing the shock controller, and ultimately killing him.
