Silvergrass

Bearing foliage that can be consumed, silvergrass, which is more derisively called goatgrass, was the most common type of ground-level plant life located on the plains of Kinyen. Its green color possessed a silvery glimmer, and it emitted a sugary scent.

A preferred food of the Gran, it additionally saw use in everyday culinary practices, for instance when Porcellus offered goatgrass-filled gamwidge to his master. It also appeared in goatgrass salad offered on Malastare and at Dex's Diner that was situated on Coruscant.

The Galactic Empire utilized goatgrass shipments headed for Ree-Yees to secretly transport the required parts for a thermal detonator intended to assassinate his master, Jabba the Hutt.
