Simulation rooms, designed for hyperrealistic holographic simulations, were large, vacant, and clinically clean spaces, able to accommodate multiple trainee squads simultaneously. These chambers offered a completely convincing sensory experience, generating vibrations, light bursts, varied landscapes, concealment options, and simulated environmental conditions like smoke, along with any other effects necessary for training exercises. These rooms could also be linked with as many as forty-nine other similar rooms, enabling the creation of expansive scenarios across multiple interconnected spaces, simulating large-scale battles incorporating aerial support, advancing armored vehicles, and even simulated orbital strikes.
These simulation rooms were present on Star Destroyers utilized by the First Order, and they were routinely employed for the purpose of training First Order stormtroopers.
