Sinick Kritkeen, a high-ranking member of COMPNOR, held the position of planetary supervisor on Aruza as it was being conquered by the Galactic Empire. He had a minor similarity in appearance to Han Solo.
Dengar, a bounty hunter, was contracted by the Aruzans to carry out Kritkeen's assassination. Because Kritkeen looked a bit like Solo, Dengar derived pleasure from the act of murdering him. As he committed the act, Dengar even tricked himself into thinking that Kritkeen was actually Solo himself. Dengar ended Kritkeen's life by placing a concussion grenade inside his mouth, hurling him from a cliff, and then shooting him two times while he was in the process of falling through the air. This elaborate execution served as retribution for the injuries he recalled suffering from Solo's swoop.
