The Sith academy on Dathomir was founded by the Brotherhood of Darkness as the New Sith Wars drew to a close. Its purpose was to train both Sith adepts and acolytes. At this location, students were mentored by Sith Masters. The training imparted here granted adepts capabilities comparable to those of Jedi Knights. These combatants constituted the majority of the Brotherhood's military forces.
