More than ten years prior to the Great Sith War, a Human blacksmith called Shas Dovos, living on Onderon, his homeworld, stumbled upon an ancient Sith armory hidden deep within the planet's jungles. This armory was filled with dark side secrets. From this cache, Null took a Sith spellbook which also contained a malevolent Sith spirit. Unknowingly, Dovos' studies were guided by this spirit, and using the knowledge he gained, he forged a set of magical Sith armor. This all happened over a decade before the war.
