Sith Elite Warbot

Despite their designation as warbots, these droids served purposes beyond direct combat, frequently acting as high-level security personnel. It was common for important Sith Empire figures to employ them, preferring the security of two Elite Warbots guarding their private quarters over a larger contingent of organic guards. Nevertheless, within the Sith military, they earned recognition as formidable fighters. They demonstrated significant effectiveness and skill in both close-quarters and ranged engagements. However, their widespread deployment throughout the Empire was limited due to the considerable expense associated with their construction.

The Sith engineered various iterations of these warbots, each featuring armor plating and generally equipped with a pair of blasters. Their primary armament, however, consisted of an alchemically enhanced Sith sword capable of withstanding lightsabers and deflecting blaster fire. One particular variant was outfitted with stun blasters and batons instead of a Sith sword. These models typically saw use in training exercises, yet, despite their less-than-lethal weaponry, their programming remained consistent with their more combat-oriented counterparts, resulting in rigorous and unforgiving training sessions.

The initial development of these droids dates back to approximately 5000 BBY, with their deployment by the Sith Empire. They played a prominent role during the Great Hyperspace War when the Dark Lord of the Sith, Naga Sadow, led his forces against the Galactic Republic. Although numerous of these dark side influenced droids met their end during this war, some survived, were deactivated, or were hidden away. These droids would later reappear in subsequent conflicts, long after the Sith Empire's downfall. This included the Great Sith War and the Jedi Civil War, although the majority of Sith Elite Warbots were located within the tombs of Korriban and similar locations throughout the galaxy. Some were utilized by the Naddists during the Naddist Uprising on Onderon, standing tall and black, with armor reminiscent of Warb Null.

In later eras, sightings of these battle droids became infrequent, with encounters primarily occurring through explorers and collectors who stumbled upon these ancient war machines. Many millennia afterward, the Sith Lord Darth Vader would find himself encased in a black life-support suit bearing a resemblance to these ancient Sith droids.
