The region known as the Six Claws was comprised of six isthmuses and was located on the continent of Alanciar of the planet Kesh. The indigenous Alanciari and Keshiri people of this area likened their continent to the leg of a muntok, a creature native to the land, with the Six Claws representing the clawed foot of the animal. Point Defiance and Point Vigilance were two of the land protrusions that formed the Six Claws. Situated as the western edge of the continent, the region shared a border with the Shank to its east.
