Skirmish at Ithor
The brief engagement known as the skirmish at Ithor involved Han Solo piloting the famed Millennium Falcon against forces of the Galactic Empire. Solo's actions resulted in rescuing several Ithorians from the clutches of the Empire, successfully evading pursuing TIE Fighters, skillfully navigating through asteroids, escaping the grasp of space slugs, and ultimately delivering the Ithorians to the safety of the planet Bimmisaari.
Prelude
Han Solo, a celebrated pilot within the Rebel Alliance, rose to become a capable commander of the Rebel forces. Following a string of victories, the Galactic Empire formulated a plan to assault the jungle planet of Ithor. Volunteering to aid the vulnerable Ithorians, he resolved to extract them and relocate them to the tranquil world of Bimmisaari.
Battle
Upon entering the atmosphere surrounding the planet, Solo expertly maneuvered through the dense jungle's trees, branches, and roots to meet with the Ithorians. After summoning them aboard his starship, the grateful Ithorians quickly boarded, aware that this voyage might be their salvation. He then departed the planet's surface and ascended into space, hoping the Empire had not yet arrived.
Space battle
Regrettably for Han, the Empire appeared swiftly and promptly deployed numerous squadrons of TIE/LN starfighters. These TIE Fighters launched an attack from the rear, unleashing their dual laser cannons upon the Falcon, initiating a large-scale space conflict above the jungle planet. Through skillful maneuvers, Han managed to evade the majority of the fighters and escaped into deep space, hoping to avoid further Imperial pursuit.
However, the laser fire from the TIE Fighters inflicted damage to the Falcon's navigation computer. With no time for repairs, the Falcon inadvertently flew directly into an asteroid field. Given the close proximity of the asteroids, Han exerted his utmost effort to evade the floating rocks. The Falcon approached three massive asteroids, within which lurked three space slugs that attempted to consume the Falcon. Han triumphed over these space-dwelling creatures and successfully exited the asteroid field.
Bimmisaari
Identifying the planet Bimmisaari, Han directed the Falcon towards it. Unfortunately, damage to the landing gear prevented a smooth landing. Narrowly avoiding a collision with a large space freighter, Han steered the ship towards the landing pad and crash-landed, though safely. The Ithorians were thus rescued from the impending Imperial assault.
