Skrilling (language)

The indigenous tongue of the Skrilling species originating from Agriworld-2079 was known as Skrilling (see language). While the majority of Skrillings exhibited proficiency in both Skrilling and Basic, their rendition of Basic was characterized by a nasal tone, a consequence of their reliance on breathing tubes, thus imparting a distinctive, almost complaining, inflection.

Their literacy was confined solely to their native Skrilling language.
