Slag Flats, an Ithorian of the female persuasion, held the title of crime lord on the desert planet of Tatooine. Having been banished from Ithor, she arrived on Tatooine aboard the colony ship that would later establish Mos Eisley in 85 BBY. In the years that followed, Slag managed to carve out a niche for herself within Mos Eisley's criminal element, although it never grew large enough to attract the attention of Jabba the Hutt. Her criminal enterprise was based out of a disused water silo located within the city.
Following his defection from the newly formed Empire, Admiral Adar Tallon orchestrated a fake pirate attack to simulate his death. He subsequently sought refuge on Tatooine, seeking assistance from Slag Flats. Slag provided Tallon with the means to disappear and maintained sporadic communication with him over the years. When the Empire discovered Tallon's continued existence and his hiding place on Tatooine during their search for the stolen Death Star plans, a bounty was issued for his capture, triggering an extensive manhunt. Slag, holding the admiral in high regard, endeavored to facilitate his escape from Tatooine. To this end, she engaged the services of Labria, a Devaronian information broker, tasking him with identifying a reliable team capable of extracting Tallon. When rebel agents approached Labria seeking information regarding Tallon's location, the Devaronian consented to arrange a meeting with Slag Flats. Prior to this meeting, Slag contacted Old Arno, the last remaining founding colonist, instructing him to connect with the rebels and guide them to Tallon. Unbeknownst to Slag, Jodo Kast, a bounty hunter, had bribed Labria. Upon receiving a tip-off from the Devaronian about the impending meeting, Kast, accompanied by a squad of bounty hunters, ambushed and killed Slag Flats and her associates. Upon reaching Slag's silo headquarters, the rebels discovered the Ithorian deceased, her head twisted unnaturally, and a Sennari-laced tipped dart embedded in her neck.
