The Soammei clan, a Rodian lineage hailing from the species' native planet of Rodia, held significant power. They were the initial clan to establish the role of "Inta'si'rin'na," also known as Grand Protector of the Rodians, by exerting control over all other Rodian factions. Despite their initial dominance, the clan was ultimately annihilated by rival groups centuries afterward as they fought to maintain their position of authority.
