The Special Operations barracks, alternatively referred to as the Special Operations Unit barracks or the 501st Special Unit barracks, functioned as the formal headquarters for the Imperial Commando Special Unit. This unit operated as an element of the 501st Legion. Situated inside the 501st Legion headquarters, the barracks were found in Imperial City on the planet Coruscant.
