Ssyrmik, a female Lieutenant and a graduate of the New Republic Space Academy, served in Chief of State Leia Organa Solo's Honor Guard. During Leia's meeting with Seti Ashgad, Ssyrmik succumbed to the Death Seed Plague. On occasion, Leia felt ancient in Ssyrmik's presence.
