The stalking bird, a non-flying reptavian hunter characterized by its elongated neck and legs, originated on the planet of Alderaan, and is classified as a species. These creatures were recognized for their hunting strategy, which involved coordinated group movements to drive prey out into the open, where they would impale them as they ran from the grass. Tragically, this species vanished entirely when the first Death Star obliterated Alderaan.
