Standard Galactic Grid

The Standard Galactic Grid served as a coordinate system. It was employed to pinpoint the location of any point within the galaxy using grid coordinates. This system involved assigning a letter to each grid square, progressing alphabetically from galactic west towards the east. Simultaneously, a number was assigned, incrementing from galactic north down towards the south. To illustrate, Far Needle Theta, a pilot serving the Rebel Alliance, once observed the Death Star within the grid section labeled H-10. Furthermore, the planet Kashyyyk was situated in grid square P-9, while Coruscant occupied L-9.
