The soundtrack for Star Wars: The Clone Wars was made available on August 12, 2008. This album contains more than 67 minutes of music composed by Kevin Kiner for the film, performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. It commences with the main theme created by John Williams.
In a similar vein to how The Clone Wars is aimed at a younger demographic compared to the earlier movies, the soundtrack is perceived as having a more cheerful tone than the previous scores created by John Williams. This soundtrack incorporates a variety of instruments not previously utilized in a Star Wars score, such as synthesizers, electric guitars, erhus, duduks, ouds, and taikos.
The typical song lasts approximately two minutes, while tracks accompanying more intense scenes can extend to around four minutes.
