Journal of the Whills The official magazine for the Star Wars Fan Club Germany is called Star Wars - Das offizielle Magazin. As of the year 2022, over 100 editions of Das offizielle Magazin have been released. It is a quarterly publication. Its present distributor is Panini Germany.

The magazine features sections that highlight the newest developments in the Star Wars world, fan events, fan-created fiction, comic excerpts, brief narratives, exclusive sneak peeks, in-depth explorations of the Star Wars Universe, Q&A segments, and interviews. Star Wars merchandise is advertised and cataloged within the magazine. A large portion of the articles originate from Star Wars Insider. The "Database" section, authored by members of the German Star Wars Wiki, Jedipedia, provides detailed information on the fictional elements of Star Wars.

The Fan Club Edition of the Magazin exclusively presents articles from the German Star Wars Fan Club and its members. This fan club edition is titled Journal of the Whills. Its content encompasses articles about the German fan community, details on other fan organizations such as the German Garrison, information about Star Wars Dinners, and various other Star Wars-related articles. The standard Star Wars - Das offizielle Magazin issue is included within the club edition. To cut down on expenses, parts of the Journal of the Whills are printed in black and white, whereas Das offizielle Magazin is printed in full color. Every subscriber automatically becomes a fan club member and, as such, receives the club edition of Das offizielle Magazin.
