The twelfth installment of the Star Wars Galaxy Magazine series is Star Wars Galaxy Magazine 12. Topps released it in August of 1997. Princess Leia was the central subject of this particular issue.

The Deluxe Collectors' Edition of issue number 12, which was available only to subscribers and at comic book shops, was packaged in a polybag along with a Topps Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition Widevision promotional trading card. The fold-out poster article Princess Leia: A Heroine's Tale was also included in this edition.
