The Star Wars Micro Collection represents a relatively brief venture into the realm of miniature, intricately designed playsets, figures, and vehicles. Kenner introduced this line in 1982, concurrently with their more commercially successful action figure series. These playsets offered the ability to interconnect with others sharing a common theme (such as the Death Star, Cloud City, or Hoth), allowing for the creation of expansive play environments. Before its discontinuation after a single year of production, several additional playsets, including one based on Dagobah, were developed to the prototype phase.
