They migrated to the water-dominated planet Iskalon to evade a disaster that befell their original planet roughly five millennia prior to the Galactic Civil War. Subsequently, they integrated into the Iskalonian School, a cultural collective of various aquatic species who had journeyed to Iskalon with assistance from spacefaring benefactors.
Recognizable by their blue skin and telepathic abilities, Stribers were characterized by their deliberate and unhurried responses, choosing to thoroughly analyze all facets of a scenario before taking action. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, Stribers had become the most uncommon species within the School, with biologists projecting their complete extinction within a few generations.
