The Strus clan constituted a band of thieves that functioned on the arid planet of Jakku during the era of the Cold War.
Their base of operations was a compound situated far within the desert landscapes. This compound was subsequently attacked by a team of spacers who were providing assistance to local nomads, who were being intimidated by the clan in a dispute regarding ownership of the vessel known as the Starlight Wanderer.
