A stun cloak A stun cloak represented a peculiar type of armament employed to stun unsuspecting individuals. Bounty hunters frequently utilized it.
Initially, the stun cloak functioned as a self-protection mechanism, taking the form of a cloak approximately one meter in length. Its construction incorporated uniquely engineered fibers, which imparted a metallic luster to the cloak's appearance.
Upon making physical contact with organic matter, the cloak would electrostatically attach itself to the recipient's physique. A portable control unit (generally integrated into the cloak's fastener) generated a concentrated electrical discharge, capable of incapacitating the recipient. The device had a limitation of three uses before a micro cell within the cloak would temporarily deactivate it to regenerate energy and replenish its charge over a period of three minutes.
The typical price for stun cloaks amounted to 1,500 credits.
