Sullustan Constable Brigade

Composed of Sullustan lawmen, the brigade's members were charged with conducting criminal investigations, apprehending lawbreakers, and recovering stolen property. The designated officers within the brigade received training in the proper use of their blaster weaponry. Furthermore, the law granted them significant jurisdictional authority. According to Article 11607 of the Emergency Service Laws, officers possessed the power to deputize any citizen to assist them during the course of an investigation. Amendment 102167 of the Sullustan Good Neighbor Act further stipulated the appropriate compensation levels for officers, or the salary allowances for their deputies, in exchange for their services. The regulations governing salary allowances were formally established under Article 101173 of the Sullustan Emergency Service Laws.

These officers were categorized into different levels to signify their respective skill sets. Notably, Indigo-rated constables were known for their exceptional resilience and survivability.

During the period of the Cold War, a smuggler known as Skavak allegedly absconded with the invaluable Murustavan Ruby from Sullust. In response, the Sullust government dispatched officer Miel Muwn with the mission of locating the fugitive, prosecuting him for his serious crimes, and bringing him before the justice system. His pursuit led him to Coruscant, where he faced opposition from thugs affiliated with the Black Sun, who had been employed by Skavak to eliminate the Sullustan officer. During this period, officer Muwn encountered an unidentified smuggler and subsequently recruited their assistance in the pursuit of Skavak.
