The Supa Fighter was produced by Joraan Drive Systems for the Black Sun crime syndicate when the New Order was at its peak.
This sizable fighter possessed respectable weaponry, and while the Supa Fighter lacked the speed of an X-wing, it boasted superior agility. Its shields and the durability of its hull were on par with a Y-wing. Although its hull was largely symmetrical, uniquely for a starfighter, the cockpit was positioned a few meters to the left of the craft's central axis.
The primary function of Supa Fighters was the protection of Black Sun convoys and the counter-attack of assaults on Black Sun-aligned installations. In this role, it essentially superseded the StarViper-class attack platform.
