Syliure-45 hyperdrive module/Legends

The Syliure-45 hyperdrive module was a hyperdrive docking ring manufactured by TransGalMeg Industries, Incorporated late in the Clone Wars. It was created to provide hyperspace travel for starfighters too small to accommodate an onboard hyperdrive, succeeding the Syliure-31 long-range hyperdrive module.
Following the introduction of the new Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor, the Syliure-45 was developed to improve on its predecessor, which had been designed for the earlier Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor. The designs differed because four additional accelerator pods had been added. Three pods were positioned on either side of the ring, which the socket connecting the fighter to the ring divided in half. Syliure-type hyperspace rings were designed for adaptation to various Jedi and Republic starfighters. Although the new six-engine variant was chiefly intended for use with the Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptors, it was also used occasionally by the Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighter.
