Syliure-31 hyperspace docking ring (V-19 Torrent model)

V-19 Torrent starfighter in a hyperdrive ring During the Clone Wars, starting in 21 BBY, initial versions of the V-19 Torrent starfighters utilized a re-engineered iteration of the Syliure-31 hyperspace docking ring for journeys through hyperspace. Cad Bane commandeered a V-19 Torrent and made his escape with one of the hyperdrive rings following the Battle of Devaron. After fleeing the exploding Munificent-class star frigate, Cad Bane, disguised as Denal, secretly boarded a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle. Upon arriving on the Resolute, he proceeded to leave, only to be spotted by Ahsoka, who noticed his injury. He retaliated by kicking her in the chest and subsequently made a dash for a V-19 Torrent starfighter, which he then docked with the hyperdrive ring. For the V-19 to successfully dock, the fighter was required to enter the ring and elevate its hinged lower S-foils to establish a connection with the upper connector. The ring was equipped with six thrusters.
