System cell

A fundamental component of Imperial Intelligence was the system cell. Imperial Intelligence utilized millions of these system cells, placing them on nearly every inhabited planet throughout the galaxy, as well as on strategically or tactically important uninhabited planets. The typical system cell consisted of four to twenty individuals, although the size could vary from a single person up to a hundred. The personnel were usually recruited locally, with training outside of the planet being uncommon.

Each systems cell operated independently, receiving all communications from the higher levels of command. Outfitted with a RWStar A/P Transceiver, each cell was responsible for acquiring any other necessary equipment on its own.
