Tachyons existed as a class of subatomic particle. Contrary to what their designation suggested, solar sails were, in practice, more frequently propelled via tachyon emissions and UV lasers than with genuine sunlight. Furthermore, tachyons underwent manipulation within a tachyon flow synchrotron accelerator.
