The release date for Star Wars - Resistance - Animation 2 is incorrectly stated as May 15th in the official Panini source. The magazine cover indicates July, so I chose not to use May 15th as a reference. The July date is supported by several secondary sources, such as this one from jedi-bibliothek.de. - Magazine cover dates usually indicate when the magazine should be removed from sale, not its initial publication date. I believe the official source should be your guide. VergenceScatter ( talk ) 05:16, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
It seems there's a difference of opinion on whether the High Tower comic adaptation should be included in this article. To avoid an edit war, we should come to an agreement. The main question is whether it was originally published within Resistance Animation. Even if it's connected to other comics in the magazine series, it's not relevant to Animation unless it appeared within that specific publication. A mention of its relationship to the other comics could potentially be included elsewhere in the article, but not in the content list for Animation. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 22:36, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- It was actually published in Star Wars Fun & Action, not Resistance Animation. This fact is already noted on the page. Rsand 30 ( talk ) 22:37, 26 January 2023 (UTC) That's my understanding as well. I've contacted the other editor on their discussion page to get their perspective. However, unless the comic is actually in Animation (which it doesn't appear to be), it shouldn't be listed as part of Animation's contents. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 22:45, 26 January 2023 (UTC) Despite being published in a magazine with a different name in Germany as part 5, and in Australia in the same magazine as part 5, the comic is part of the Resistance Comicstrips. Since the comic series doesn't have its own dedicated article, it should be listed here. CharlotteSmoothie (talk) 00:27, 27 January 2023 (UTC) This article specifically covers the Resistance Animation magazine series. While The High Tower is indeed a comic adaptation of Star Wars Resistance, it was never featured in any of the magazines within this series. The Australian release is already documented on the K-Zone page. Rsand 30 (talk) 00:31, 27 January 2023 (UTC) For a related example, consider the Star Wars Rebels Magazine and the Star Wars Rebels Animation magazine. Both feature comics based on the Star Wars Rebels series. The Rebels Animation comics even continue the storyline from the Rebels Magazine, and they're even collected together in a TPB. However, because they were published in different magazines, they have distinct content listings.
