Sorn served as a bridge officer on the Executor, specifically the Executor-class Star Dreadnought. While stationed there, she became rivals with Lieutenant Ein Truminn, another bridge officer. Approximately during 3 ABY, coinciding with the Battle of Hoth, Sorn began to believe that Malkor Trel, a member of the crew aboard the ship, was secretly a spy working for the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Her suspicions proved accurate, and Trel, fearing exposure, decided to eliminate her. He reprogrammed some of the ship's ASP-7 labor droids to murder her. Following this, Darth Vader selected a team of Executor crew members, which included Suba, to investigate the circumstances of her death.
